Public Records

Copies of marriage and divorce records can be obtained from the Arizona County Court’s Office in the county where the marriage or divorce occurred. Birth and death records are available from the Vital Records Office in each county.

You can submit an open records request for other county records. This is simply an official request to view particular public government or agency documents. There is a portal through the county website to search most records online. If you cannot locate a record, you can request records from the department directly.

Deeds, which are legal documents regarding the ownership of property or legal rights, can be obtained from the County Recorder. Deeds can also be searched through the County Recorder’s website.
